What is the test about?
SBI Clerical Exam will be conducted by the State Bank Of India to recruit candidates in clerical positions in various branches across the nation.
Who is eligible?
- Candidate’s minimum age limit is 21 years and upper age limit is 28 years.
- The candidate should be a graduate in any stream from a recognized university in India.
What are the test syllabus, duration and format?
The SBI Clerk selection process consists of three phases.
Preliminary Examination. Online Objective Test. 100 marks. 3 sections.
Main Examination. Online Objective Test. 190 questions. 2 hours 40 minutes.
Language Proficiency Test. The Final Test.
Topics: Puzzles (linear seating arrangement, floor based, seating arrangement), Statement Based Questions, Flow Chart based Questions, Miscellaneous Questions, Data Sufficiency, Syllogism, Input-Output, Inequality, Computer Aptitude.
2) Quantitative Aptitude
Topics: Quadratic Equations, Data Sufficiency, Data Interpretation, Number Series, Miscellaneous questions. Simple and Compound Interest, Average, Profit and Loss, Age, Time and Work, Area, Boat and Stream.
3) English Language
Topics: Reading Comprehension Test, Spotting Errors, Sentence Rearrangement, Sentence Improvement.
4) General/Financial Awareness
Topics: Current Affairs and Banking and Economy, National and International News, Awards and Honours, Insurance, New Schemes, Recent Appointments, Latest Developments in Science and Technology, Sports.
